Saturday, August 6 - it's a School Supply Drive for Hope & Love 4 Kids in Kyle, Texas with some great music by Heather Bishop , Eric Tessmer , Jen Leigh , Danny G and Deeann Rene. There will be games for the kiddos. There will be dinner (hot dogs & nachos for sale) There will be a bar and mini-car racing for the adults There will be a lot of fun and amazing music There will be a place to collect any and all school supplies. Will there be YOU? Make the EASY trek out to The CAR BAR at Central Texas Speedway The Car Bar is the big white building towards the back of the property (just keep driving straight and you'll see it on your left).   Bruce A. King is a local realtor for Prosper Properties and well-known in Kyle and Buda for his  involvement in charity work and giving back to the community. He is even better known as " Hays County Santa " as he has been the "face" of Santa Claus in the Hays County area for many years. Chances are, if you have children, you have his photo somewhere.  He has been ill recently and, unfortunately, he does not hold insurance. There is a medical procedure he requires, but does not have the funds to cover the expenses. When Concerts For A Cause heard about this, we immediately refocused our July 2016 show in order to help this man, who has done so much for the community. So.. the July 9, 2016 Concerts For A Cause is a Benefit For Bruce "Santa" King. 2015 Season Finds Home In Kyle, Texas' Newest Venue We are VERY excited to announce that Concerts For A Cause has secured Kyle's newest bar and entertainment venue, Down South Railhouse (107 E. Center Street, Kyle, Texas) for the entire 2015 Concerts For A Cause season! Down South Railhouse - Home for Concerts for a Cause 2015 Season. Every show will be on a Saturday night from 5:00p - 8:00p because our shows are always family friendly and enjoying a night of great music for an admirable cause is just a fun family outing... isn't it? Depending on the size of the show, we will either be indoors or outdoors and the venue will eventually feature some fun things to do including sand volleyball, washers, horseshoes, darts and a children's play area.
