  Bruce A. King is a local realtor for Prosper Properties and well-known in Kyle and Buda for his  involvement in charity work and giving back to the community. He is even better known as " Hays County Santa " as he has been the "face" of Santa Claus in the Hays County area for many years. Chances are, if you have children, you have his photo somewhere.  He has been ill recently and, unfortunately, he does not hold insurance. There is a medical procedure he requires, but does not have the funds to cover the expenses. When Concerts For A Cause heard about this, we immediately refocused our July 2016 show in order to help this man, who has done so much for the community. So.. the July 9, 2016 Concerts For A Cause is a Benefit For Bruce "Santa" King. We will have a community party at Central Texas Speedway's Car Bar that will include a dunking booth and other "reindeer games." We will have several of the non-profits CFAC is hosting ...

On July 11, 2015 join Concerts for A Cause for a family friendly, music filled evening to benefit PAWS Shelter & Humane Society in Kyle.  What: Benefit Concert for PAWS Where: Down South Railhouse - 107 E. Center Street, Kyle Texas When: July 11, 2015 Time: 5p-8p Cost: Free (donations accepted) The event is free to attend and we will be collecting donations at the venue. There will also be an adoption trailer on site. About PAWS : PAWS, a no-kill shelter, was founded in 1986 to provide care and love to homeless, abandoned, and abused animals in Central Texas. At PAWS, companion animals are given medical attention, care, and love for however long it takes for us to find them a loving home. MUSIC : Acoustic trio, Brotherhood of the Girl , will perform indie, folk, pop, rock, country music at Down South Railhouse . Heather Wiley and friends will open from 5-6p. Concerts for a Cause is in its first year, and is a way to raise awareness of and raise money for some of the local-to-Kyle charities that work to make this “simply c harming” city an even better place to live. 100% of the proceeds for this show will go to the Hays Caldwell Woman's Center.
