Concerts For A Cause

DC Bloo m at the March 2015 Concerts F or A Cause The 2015 season of Concerts For A Cause began in March and wrapped up in November 2015. The charities served this season included (in alphabetical order): ECI Homespun For The Love of Go! Hays-Caldwell Women's Center Hope & Love 4 Kids Hope & Love 4 Kids (School Supply Drive) Kids Outdoor Zone Movember (The Simply Charming Mo's of Kyle, Texas) PAWS Shelter & Humane Society United Way of Hays County (Flood Relief)  In addition to raising awareness about all of these charities that are local to Hays County, Texas, Concerts For A Cause raised $11,100.35 for these charities. This was more than 66% more than was raised in our first season (2014). As a part of our monthly concert Series, there were a number of musicians and bands who donated their time and talents each month. September 12 - Kids Outdoor Zone Benefit Shelley King & Lucas Cook Perform On Saturday, September 12, 2015 you are invited to join us at Down South Railhouse (107 E. Center Street) in Kyle, Texas between 5-8p a Concerts For A Cause benefiting Kids Outdoor Zone (KOZ).  It is free to attend and we will have live music, great food (Most Wanted Smokers and South Folk Eatery) and the chance to donate to and/or learn more about KOZ. We will also sell raffle tickets for $1 each. This month's raffle is for an Epiphone Les Paul guitar and amp. About KOZ: KOZ is an Outdoor Adventure Ministry that provides kids with mentors and direction to become Godly adults. 2015 Season Finds Home In Kyle, Texas' Newest Venue We are VERY excited to announce that Concerts For A Cause has secured Kyle's newest bar and entertainment venue, Down South Railhouse (107 E. Center Street, Kyle, Texas) for the entire 2015 Concerts For A Cause season! Down South Railhouse - Home for Concerts for a Cause 2015 Season. Every show will be on a Saturday night from 5:00p - 8:00p because our shows are always family friendly and enjoying a night of great music for an admirable cause is just a fun family outing... isn't it? Depending on the size of the show, we will either be indoors or outdoors and the venue will eventually feature some fun things to do including sand volleyball, washers, horseshoes, darts and a children's play area. Down South will have entertainment going on after our shows as well.. so you can show up early and stay late if you like.
